About the event
The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) invites Educators, Families, and School Communities to attend a free, in-person Dyslexia 101 Workshop—an engaging introduction to understanding dyslexia and improving reading instruction for all learners. This interactive session combines IDA’s professionally produced Dyslexia 101 video with a live, locally facilitated discussion led by a certified IDA Facilitator and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in dyslexia and Structured Literacy.
Participants will learn to:
Recognize what dyslexia is and is not
Understand the principles of Structured Literacy and why they work
Discover evidence-based practices aligned with IDA’s Knowledge and Practice Standards
Access free IDA tools, resources, and community connections
