Dyslexia Demystified

What is it? Who has it? What can be done about it? Dyslexia affects at least one in ten individuals. It is an unexpected difficulty with world reading, spelling, reading fluency, and -- by extension -- reading comprhension. As common as the condition may be, myths and misunderstandinggs about. We'll review the facts of prevalence, symptomology, development and treatment -- with reference to current neuroscientific, cognitive, and educational research -- and with practical advice for parents, students, and teachers.
